To get started, we use your GEDCOM (GEnealogical Data COMmunication) file, which is the genealogy data standard used by today's genealogy discovery sites, such as Ancestry©, FamilySearch©, Reunion©, Ancestral Quest©, MyHeritage©, My Family Tree©, WikiTree©, and others.

Your family's ancestral GEDCOM file can be downloaded for free, and, in addition to your direct ancestral lineage, it may include historical records and documents stretching across centuries, allowing you to piece together your family's story.

After you download your GEDCOM file and send it to us, we import it to Microsoft SQL Server, a relational database management system that supports a wide variety of processing, intelligence and analytics applications.

Once your site is created, we'll provide you with a secure personal password-protected dashboard where you can add, edit, or delete an ancestor, any new information you discover, and also add any personal family photographs, stories, or other historical data as design elements to your website.

Your website will be built using the latest technologies, including Responsive Web Design, and W3C Validation for HTML5, JavaScript, SVG, and CSS.

The site will be a Direct Ancestor Lineage Tree, which means it will show ancestors related to you through parent-child relationships.

Visitors to your site will easily be able to search your tree by last name, date of birth, date of death, place of birth, place of marriage, and even by spouse name if this information is in your GEDCOM file.

Also, if you have had your DNA tested, you can show your ethnicity-estimate maps on your family website.

Finally, once you've chosen your domain name, we can register it for you (typical cost is $15-$20/year), or you can choose to register it yourself with Registrars such as GoDaddy, Domain.com, and others.

Once your site is complete, we will host the site for $25/month* ($300/year).
